Kawasaki Team Green unveil 2014 rider line-up

At the recent Dirt Bike Show in Stonleigh, Warks, a new four rider line-up for Kawasaki UK's official youth team for the 2014 season was announced.

True to the Team Green ethos of encouraging and then nurturing young talent, Dylan Woodcock on the KX85BW, and Todd Kellett, on his KX250F in the Rookie class, are part of the line-up for a second year.

Joining them is 2013 British Youth Nationals 65cc Champion, Lewis Hall who will now campaign the new KX85 in the small wheel class. Alongside Hall in the Big Wheel 85 class is rising star Jed Etchells who will be on the same machinery as Dylan.

The incredibly strong four rider line-up, is already being talked about with regard to their race winning potential across the year ahead competing in the seven round Arenacross series, Red Bull Elite Youth Cup and British Youth Nationals.

In addition, Todd will also compete in the MXY2 class running alongside the Maxxis British Championship out of the Pendrich Kawasaki awning.

In terms of support, and in addition to Kawasaki Motors UK, the team will also receive a high level of backing from Monster Energy plus the Maxxis and Motorex brands.

Team Manager Jeff Perrett commented: "In my first year of running the team we have had fantastic success with Dylan and Todd both winning races and titles. The lads have a lot to live up to in 2014. I am sure however that they will hit the ground running and we will collect more silverware next season."

For Kawasaki, Racing Coordinator, Ross Burridge said:  "With the arrival of the exciting new KX85, a lot of focus will be on Team Green for next season and success is a must.

I truly believe we have the best set of riders possible to fulfil our ambition of this being THE premier off-road team to be part of in the UK. I wish the lads all the best for next season, and now it's all hands on deck in order to get everyone ready for Arenacross starting in January."
